Let me get this straight.  A team wins the division and celebrates on the field.  Ok, that is not unusual.  However, they climbed outside the playing field and started jumping into the pool that that was built outside the playing area?  AND YOU GUYS DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT?

As on poster said, that would be the equivalent of the Rangers doing water slides down the rocks  and waterfall of the big A.

Well you didn't get it straight. The Diamondbacks told them they could not celebrate on the field like every other team does when they clinch their division. Those celebrations usually involve some gloves and hats tossed in the air and a dog pile around the mound and in about ten minutes they are all in the locker room spraying each other with cheap bubbly.

But the Diamondbacks refused them the ten minutes of actually showing some gladness on the spot. So after the fans left they snuck into the pool. No upstaging the Diamondbacks in front of their sparse crowd, they waited until all but the cleanup crew was around.

To make an issue of that just shows how petty the Diamondbacks management is and of course McCain had to open his mouth as if he has any say so in how ballplayers are supposed to act off the field, after the game and not in front of the public.

They are being dicks.

The Diamondbacks told them they could celebrate on the field at first which they did, but once they got to the clubhouse to stay there and celebrate there and not to come back out onto the field. So they did allow them to celebrate on the field.

Everyone needs to read this post. It's kind of important.

How the hell could they prevent a impromptu celebration on the field? What were they going to do?  Arrest them for trespassing?  That is stupid.  Its stupid for the Diamondbacks to suggest it, and its even stupider for the Dogs to honor it, and its an embarrassment to have them jump on the diamondbacks pool.  A lot of ignorance on all accounts.

That also said, it was also stupid for McCain to even make an issue of it.

So there was celebration on the field....OK.

Should have stayed on the field and in the club house.

Uhhh, yeah, pretty much! What the hell are people talking about they didn't get to celebrate on the field? What a bunch of bologna.

Sorry hipsters that think Brian Wilson moral highground tweets are something to take with anything more than a grain of salt, I'm gonna have to side with McCain on this one. Doyers got their celebration on the field in front of fans. Doyers got their celebration in the clubhouse. What the f*** are you doing in a place you don't belong?

Just not a respectful way to celebrate or treat another stadium or team at all.

This coming from a FORMER presidential candidate...to form maybe the WORST presidential ticket in a long time.

Uhhhh, give it 6 more months and I think you'll see Obama wins that one (if he already hasn't).
