KOLE CALHOUN

It would be laughable if it was actually happening.   Just one of those things people make up to try to create noise.

He's already sat 2 times this week against lefties and 7 out of the last 21 games.

That's called platooning against righties and sitting against leftys in case you didn't know.

Calhoun has been one of those guys that have made the end to this season interesting for me. Having watched him develop in the Minor Leagues, it is particularly fun to see him showoff his skills at the Major League level. He should be a starter next year or a very regular bench player. I am glad w were able to have him come out for our Spring Training Fanfest and so many fans got to meet him.

You're soo eager to pop off you didn't even bother to look at all of what you posted...   Fact is he's been in 34 of the 36 games since August 1st.  Same exact number of games as JB Shuck...You know the guy thats playing every day while Calhoun seemingly rots?

Shuck has had about 20 more at bats though and while that may seem a bit damning, you may want to compare their OPS in August.   Shuck actually had his best month in August.

Yep, Calhoun, Richards, Green.   It's been nice seeing them play, and do well.

You forget to mention that Calhoun didn't start 8 of those games and came into the game as late inning defensive replacement.

Yeah Shuck had his best OPS month in august but of you course you don't bring up his .500 ops in september and the fact that Calhoun is almost .100 ops point higher since August 1st.
