This assumes that Romine sees the exact same pitch in the exact same location and that he also hits said pitch. The pitcher and catcher likely have a different approach with runners on 2nd and 3rd.

We don't know that they wouldn't have.

 

I would rather have 2nd/3rd and two out than first/third and two out any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. Given that today is Sunday...

 

Scioscia and his goddamned "strategy", which includes using the contact play almost every single time they have a runner at third and less than two outs, need to get the **** off my team. I am just so over this bullshit.
