The Lakers have only had one 5 game winning streak this season. Gonna have to end 5-0 to make the playoffs

At least Utah lost, while the Lakers won to move 1/2 game in front with 4 games to play (3 at home).

Utah has only 3 games remaining (1 home and 2 road), although 2 games are against the lowly Wolves.

You cannot put this on D'Antoni.  Kobe is the greatest competitor of all-time.  No one is going to tell Kobe that the Lakers should play him less and potentially miss the playoffs, because....ahem....we wouldn't beat anyone anyway.  He would NEVER accept that.  Kobe is playing a ton of minutes because he knows that the team needs him, in order to make the playoffs and because the Lakers are severely short-handed due to this seasons f'ed up injury list.  I am completely blown away this morning at this huge loss, for the Lakers and Kobe.  Mark my words, though.  Kobe will pull an Adrian Peterson and return in record time (Probably not by Game 1 of opening playoff round though).
