Yes and no. My opinion of the "african american" culture is generally not a positive one, but I do know that cases like this do not necessarily represent it.

I agree tdawg.  Junky, I am told that if my first reaction to seeing a black man in low riding pants and a dew rag is to try to avoid him that is a racist attitude.  Well, it's stories like this that make my want to avoid a black dude in low riding pants in a dew rag.
