I don't care that much if they win at this point, but losing in less excruciating ways at the very least would be welcome.

Look on the bright side, losing just brings us that much closer to a top 10 pick.

Winning these games is meaningless.

You would have to be delusional if you think Cowart has a chance of starting in the majors in 2014.

Good question. They must plan on trying him at 2B and maybe 3B once in awhile. If he develops, they'll trade Kendrick.

Not sure why we're giving Chris Nelson a shot at 3B, when there are potentially viable alternatives. He's not good.

Unless Dipoto is out of his mind, Nelson has to just be a stop-gap at 3B for the rest of the season.  I have to think they either want Lucho there in 2014 or they have their eye on a potential FA.  If they thought Green was truly in the mix then it would make no sense for him to be in AAA right now.  That tells me they want him at 2B, and that Howie will be traded in the offseason for SP.
