Cowgill sounds cooler and is easier to pronounce. It just rolls off the tongue while you have to work a little harder to accent the second syllable of Calhoun.

Pretty awesome how this team calls up a prospect who despite batting lefty, had a OPS over 200 points higher against lefties in Salt Lake, and then the manager forces him into a platoon with Colin Cowgill.
