Trumbo is the most overrated Angel player easily in recent memory. He's a .250/.780 hitter that can't play defense or run the bases well. He's a 2 WAR player which is basically an average player. Nothing special at all. Plus he consistently has a low OBP and tons of strikeouts.

I think Dipoto needs to go in the offseason along with Scioscia.

Unwilling to let go of a mediocre Trumbo along with signing Blanton is a huge mistake.
