@Ken_Rosenthal: #Angels’ preference is to use Kendrick to get starting pitcher. Aybar also in play, but easier to replace a second baseman than a shortstop.

At least it looks like we are a little active.  Sounds like Callaspo/Kendrick/Aybar are the hot commodities right now.  Prefer Callaspo being traded, then Aybar, then Kendrick.  But only one of the three.  And if Blanton were included in any of the trades, it's a big bonus.

I would rather have Carlos Martinez, but Wacha isn't bad either.

Aybar and Kendrick are actually reasonably valuable - both are 3-4 WAR players with good contracts.

 

I'd rather see Kendrick traded than Aybar because Lindsey is better than Romine/Fields, and Stamets isn't ready. The future of SS is Jose Rondon, but he's 3+ years away.

There are actually other teams that want to win their Division, LCS, and World Series rings that need to make themselves better to win it all. That means they need to add our second tier players who are better at their positions than those teams third and fourth tier scrubs.

God this is so ignorant.  Santana was an All Star for the Angels and Napoli was very good.  Rodney is the only one that makes sense in your argument.
