@Alden_Gonzalez: Hear #Angels' chances of making another deal before Deadline now "better than 50/50." Lotsa interest. "Vultures are circling," source said.

@Ken_Rosenthal: Source: #Royals on H. Kendrick’s no-trade list. Kendrick can block trades to 12 teams this season, per Cot’s Baseball Contracts. #Angels.

@Ken_Rosenthal: #Angels’ preference is to use Kendrick to get starting pitcher. Aybar also in play, but easier to replace a second baseman than a shortstop.

At least it looks like we are a little active.  Sounds like Callaspo/Kendrick/Aybar are the hot commodities right now.  Prefer Callaspo being traded, then Aybar, then Kendrick.  But only one of the three.  And if Blanton were included in any of the trades, it's a big bonus.

I'm starting to wonder why all of these teams are interested in our 2nd tier players. It's as if they know exactly how to fix them and are trying to get 'em on the cheap. If you don't think this can be true, see: Rodney, Santana, Napoli

There are actually other teams that want to win their Division, LCS, and World Series rings that need to make themselves better to win it all. That means they need to add our second tier players who are better at their positions than those teams third and fourth tier scrubs.

Cardinals have been in contact with Angels about Erick Aybar.

That's the deal that would get the Halos their best return. Would love for it to happen

It would get the Halos their best return but I would proceed with caution on this one.

God this is so ignorant.  Santana was an All Star for the Angels and Napoli was very good.  Rodney is the only one that makes sense in your argument.
