Seems like there aren't many contenders that need MI help.

 

If KC is looking to go for it all instead of sell, then they might be the only team in need of MI help.

 

Possibly the Orioles could be looking for help at 2b?

I'll take that, but with Lindsey taking over 2B in ST and include Callaspo in the deal.

Anything to give Callaspo away, and let whoever (even Lindsey) take 2B for the rest of 2013.

This is the one I'll keep pushing.  Phillies trade Howard, Palpelbolm, and Lee to the Yankees for Teixerra.  This sheds a ton of salary by the Phillies.  The Yankees get a legit closer to take over for Rivera, and they get a starting pitcher.  And if Arod gets suspended/banned, the Yanks will actually be around the same salary.

Someone suggested this earlier: Trumbo to the Yankees for Nova.

 

Nova has some serious upside, and he's already pretty good.

I would not trade Howie for Moustakas straight up, let alone include Cron.

 

Moustakas is young enough (24) that he should improve, but he's got a .676 OPS through 327 major league games - not encouraging.
