 but the repercussions of the Rosen trade will be felt for years. The Cardinals used three draft picks to move up and select Rosen last year. Then they traded him at a steep discount and will absorb $16 million in dead money for their efforts. It will take a while to make up for the lost opportunities to acquire talent at other positions.
