The ball that landed between he and Trout, Trout called for it, and when he did so, Calhoun backed off, then Trout lost the ball.

 

The ball that he dove for was going by him whether he dove or not.

 

He was no worse than the rest of the outfield, and, hey, at least he got a hit today. The only outfielder who did so.

Actually, he's been perfect in 2 relief appearances....small sample size but, if we have to pay him, I'd rather he find a role as a middle reliever than pay somebody to take him off our hands....his stats, as a starter, say that's he's better the first time thru a lineup than thereafter, so maybe he could find a niche in the pen....
