Might as well trade him while his value is high. I mean, where is he going to play? Trout, Bourjos, Hamilton, Cowgill, Hawpe and Shuck. He is not going to see any playing time with the big club for a looooooong time.

That's actually not true - it was last April when a player named Vernon Wells was being his usual crappy self and a young man by the name of Mike Trout was hitting .400 in AAA.

Calhoun hits 3 HR's, Hanson throwing 94.  Is there some event today we are unaware of?

That is exactly why he isn't coming up yet. When the team realizes they are way out of it then they will start evaluating for next year.

Calhoun is a lot better than shuck, he should get ab's if called up.

They'll bring him up, he'll go 0-4 in his first game and Scioscia will sit him for a week.

I don't think they should call him up, unless he gets consistent AB's, which isn't gonna happen on Scioscia's watch. I'd hate to see him up for a few weeks just to be a defensive replacement late in the game. God, I hate Scioscia

It's amazing that Calhoun is still in AAA while completely useless players like Shuck is starting every game.

The fact that Calhoun is still in SLC while the Angels continue to trot out the likes of Hawpe, Shuck, and Cowgill should get the general manager and the field manager canned. I have never seen anything remotely as ridiculous as this situation.
