Shitty but obviously if he violated the policy he deserves to be punished.  Aside from Manning he's the last guy Denver can afford to be without and 3 of their first 4 opponents are Baltimore, NYG and Philly.  I realize Philly sucked last year but they've got the pieces on offense to put up points and yards.

Currently he's like 5+ kids with different women and multiple injuries away from that but only time will tell.

I'm one of those guys who doesn't understand why there's outrage when this happens to baseball players but it's no big deal when it's an nfl'er

I don't get it either. Then again, I'm also in favor of players using PEDS anyway.

Luckily for Denver, their division is weak so they'll be fine, especially since this is happening in the early part of the season. Losing him in Nov/Dec would hurt more

Well let's see - the 20 or so guys who are facing suspension in MLB related to the Florida company supposedly won't do so this year. One of which is Braun who won an MVP award and then fought and won an appeal when facing suspension on what almost seemed like a technicality or a BS decision a few years ago.  In the NFL I don't recall too many guys avoiding a substance abuse suspension.  To be clear I don't think that use in the NFL was any less common than it was in MLB during the prime PED days but MLB saw records shattered and had guys stand up and lie to congress.  The NFL just seems to handle it better and move on it definitely doesn't mean their hands are any more clean.

 

bloodbrother - I don't disagree but it definitely hurts their home field chances.
