Is CJ worth his contract now?

With CJ's recent dominace and his first half success last year I think he has lived up to his end of the deal so far.  I am happy CJ is an Angel!  I like him and he has been our best pitcher this season thus far

Josh Hamilton and Zack Greinke both have offensive WAR (batting) of 0.8. Considering Greinke went 2-2 in today's game, he might actually have more war as a batter than Josh Hamilton come tomorrow.

CJ now has an incredible 3.15 ERA on the season. His WHIP is higher than it should be, but that's a solid ERA.

Hell yes! I've never doubted him (well, maybe in late August or so last year) and while he started slow he's getting back to the Wilson of old. I loved the signing at the time and I still love it now since we have our #1 and #2 starters locked up. Now if only the rest of the pitching staff didn't suck...

3.15 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP.  His ERA leads the team for qualifiers and is better than Weaver and Vargas.  He struggled to start the season but has done well over his last several starts.  Hopefully he can keep it up.

Walks are a false stat. CJ can walk the bases loaded as much as he wants as long as he strands 'em.

Yeah. The contract is pretty solid tbh. He's not an ace but he's a solid #3 and these days, a solid #3 usually makes around $13-$15 mill a year which is where CJ is at.
