No curfews then. I regularly staggered down Gate 2 Street just before dawn, hoping the bats in the banyan trees would miss my head when they swooped.

Done that before, though I do like the bars out gate 1 much better down by the seawall. Less Marines. Not that I have anything against Marines, but you put a group of drunk Marines in the same bar with any other service, they're going to pick a fight. They do it every time. Now, we have to be in our homes by 12 and we're not allowed to drink off base at all right now.
