Holiday moved down to #2 by Baseball America.

Before he was drafted, Paul Skenes wasn’t 1-1 around this time ahead of the draft as well.

I think the lottery should be limited to like the top 3 picks or something.

Disagree.  I think the lottery should be expanded to the top 500 picks.  And then I will run it.  I already have the ping pong balls.  I can personally guarantee the Dodgers and Yankees won't pick before #499.  All totally legit.

Why exactly does Holliday show up as projected anywhere from #1 to like #9?

He's in high school so there's a lot that could change. I doubt the Angels take him, honestly.

Because some outlets go based on name brand and others recognize that he has had trouble hitting in travel ball with significant whiff issues.

I suspect Perry will still draft whoever he feels he can get to the MLB roster in '25 or '26. Dude is still fighting for his job at this point.

The Angels had three players come in at or above-average by position this year...and they were Zach Neto, Nolan Schanuel and Logan O'Hoppe.
If Perry adds Christian Moore and this year's first-rounder to that, then that's his going to be his biggest selling point keeping him or hiring him as GM. Be it LaViolette or the best SP available. Not sure Holliday would be along quick enough.

Still a lot of time. That top 10 could be completely different by June.

It will not be completely a different ten. There may be some new names and a different order, but a lot of these guys will still be there, especially in the top 3-4.

The MLB Draft Lottery always gets me hyped—there’s something so exciting about seeing which teams will land those top picks and thinking about how it might shape the future of the league. Last year, I remember watching the lottery with some friends, and we even made a game out of predicting the results. I didn’t do too well in my guesses, but it was all in good fun.

Later that night, we kept the competitive vibe going by hopping onto themulligans.org—online casino—and playing a few rounds of blackjack. It was such a fun way to keep the energy up after all the draft excitement. I even hit a small streak and won enough to cover our pizza order!

Please don’t complain about other posters Taylor.  I mean, really.

We should all be concerned about AI bots being allowed to post in here and study our communication. Kind of weird that the mods allow it to happen.

Since you don't know how much cleanup is done on this site to weed out bots you can certainly think nothing is being done about it.

Sure thing. Yet the AI post is still there.

This is like when my toddler says she picked up her toys while there are 18 loose puzzle pieces around her feet.
