The last summer I lived in Oklahoma, we had six straight weeks of temps over 100, with humidity around 60 percent. We were finalizing the move to Las Vegas at the time. We flew out to LV in July and it was 110 with about five percent humidity, and it felt cooler.

I moved to Redding on July 2nd.  Come to find out it was a record day.  116 and unloading a truck.  I did get Heat Exhaustion.  Numbness in fingers, dizzy, etc.  It was exhilarating.  NOT!
