The Angels drafted Jared Abruzzon, catcher in the 2nd round, in 2000. He never made it pass AA and retired after 2005. Should have know about the youngest Molina. 

Here is an interesting evaluation of Abruzzo. 

Bengie Molina had a surprising rookie season for the Angels in 2000, but he doesn’t come close to Abruzzo’s offensive ceiling. Abruzzo will move up to Cedar Rapids in 2001.

The writer of that sentence was way off the mark on that projection.

I hate that term "innings-eater."  It reminds me of Joe Blanton. He "eats innings" and "craps runs".
