Hello everybody,

I've been a member for quite a long time and really enjoy this forum, so I figured I should introduce myself and maybe take part in some of the discussions!

My name is Mathieu and I was born and raised in Switzerland. My dad, who is from So Cal, has been an Angel fan his whole life and introduced me to baseball when I was a kid. I've been following Angels baseball for about 10 years now! I'm now going to college in California, so I'm able to watch live games!

I come in peace!!

In any case, I'm not here to troll or be an a-hole.

I just like to occasionally check out opposing teams blogs and talk some baseball with some folks with different perspectives.

Do you guys typically have a game thread close to game time?

Kick rocks, buddy!

AW popped in my head recently with the Angels draft. I don't follow baseball as closely as I used to, but I thought I'd peek my head in for the fun of it. I don't know if anyone would even remember me lol. I hope everyone is doing well, it looks like the site is progressing as much as it always had. Well done, Chuck.

Hey all.

Ive been following this forum for a little while and decided it's time to post. I'm from Melbourne, Australia and have been following baseball for a few years. I only started properly watching last season but wasn't satisfied with the amount of games I could watch due to time differences and such, and only got to watch about 80 games.

In February I purchased a cafe with the best internet connection money can buy. I will not miss a game this season haha.

Sorry for the life story.

This is one of the greatest things ever posted on AW.com

beat that, losers!

What up y'all, I guess I should introduce myself. The names Gabe, born in Anaheim, lived in Fullerton for a while, got an Angels tat on my arm. I really enjoy this forum, thanks for all your comments. You guys are truly informative and entertaining. I don't know if I like or hate the fat man.

Welcome, but we need you to clear something up. Who is the fat man?

Scioscia, Pujols or Trout?

Be specific -- which fat man?  Many to choose from here.

Welcome to the board.

He's not fat. He's just cultivating mass.

Ha ha. I'm not sure which poster it is, but they always joke about Sosh always going to the Olive Garden, I love that schtick. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if it's true!

Moe Drabowsky was one of the game's great pranksters. His Orioles were playing the Athletics in Kansas City. Having just played for the A's, Drabowsky knew the extension for the A's bullpen, he knew that you could call one bullpen from the other, and he could imitate the KC pitching coach. KC's Jim Nash was cruising in the fifth inning. He called their bullpen and said "Get Krausse up." His teammates howled as the A's pen scrambled to comply with the unexpected call. Drabowsky wasn't done. A couple of minutes later he called back and said "OK, sit him down." His teammates again roared with laughter.

Drabowsky once used the bullpen phone at Anaheim to order Chinese takeout from a restaurant in Hong Kong.

Hello computer people.

Angels Fan from birth. Now live in NorCal. Didn't realize the internet contained non porn sites. Happy to have found you. My arm needed a break.

I look forward to insightful discussions about bullpen management, three hole hitters and race relations.

Welcome!

Love the name pick, it is certainly non-controversial.
