Nothing mind-blowing but worth reading.

 

It reminds me what a great franchise the Athletics are - year in and year out they manage to remain competitive with a small payroll.

 

Some good stuff on Pujols and Hamilton. The article points out that there are encouraging signs with Hamilton - an increase in line-drive rate, low BABIP, etc, point to a much stronger second half. Albert should improve as well but due to his injury not as drastically.
