It brings my heart joy to see the Mariners rankings in offensive categories for the month of July

 

Yes, it's a small sample size but, not sure they've had things clicking this well in any two week period over the last several years. Of course Rauuuuuuul had been a huge part of the production but, so have MANY of the young guys and that's what is so encouraging.

 

Obviously, even at this pace, they're not likely even sniffing a WC but, if they can continue to produce during the second half, it will go along way toward building their confidence for the future and helping them to learn to win (not to mention, help give the FO a good idea of who's going to "stick and stay" and what gaps need to be filled in an off season that should see the M's fairly flush with cash).

 

Kinda unfortunate that the "gelling" comes just prior to the ASB  . . .

Here's hoping the break doesn't affect any momentum gained but, just provides rest and recharge.
