Russell Wilson leaving Denver to sign a deal with the Steelers.

He didn't leave Denver he was cut.  Had they not done so before the start of this league season his $37M salary for 2025 would have been guaranteed.  Definitely going down as one of the worst trades of all time especially after seeing the dead cap hit they took on to cut him.  I was a fan of them trading for him but didn't see the need to extend him right away since he was still under contract.  Not sure how the GM still has his job between the Wilson move and some others in recent years.  I expect Denver to be the AFC West cellar dweller for a few years at least.

i wasn't trying to suggest he was a free agent who left on his own accord. probably could've worded it a bit better.

da bearssss traded justin fields to the steelers.

Not sure what the end game is in Pittsburgh, signing Wilson and then trading for Fields.

The Raiders signed Gardner Minshew. I was hoping that they would trade for Fields - especially seeing how little that it took for Pittsburgh to swing a deal.

FOX NFL Sunday show had Jeff Bridges on the opening talking about it who won week one.  But don't start any parades yet, it is a 16 week season.

Someone that knows about the NFL had to read or write his copy, right?

Someone that knows about the NFL had to edit his segment, right?

Just mind boggling that these types of simple to recognize errors are allowed to get on air.

Al Michaels was really letting Goodall have it last night for the new Kick-off rule.  Nice to see a National guy tell it like it is.

It really makes no sense. If you want to reduce the ball not being in play then remove the tee and allow the kicker one step.

No Fun League at it again on Monday Night.

Unsportsmanlike penalty on the last TD by Atlanta?

Seemed like they were really trying to get the game to overtime for Philly.

Not surprised given the ticky tacky PI called on Cincy against KC that extended KC's game winning drive Sunday.  Mahomes threw a pass that was high, the defender went up for it before the receiver, there was contact and KC got bailed out.  Not the type of call they should make in a situation like that but definitely one that they seem to make for some teams more than others.

After starting 0-2 and looking like they're in the running for the 1st pick Denver beats Tampa and then the Jets on the road.  Their offense is terrible but they've now gutted out two wins I thought would definitely be losses.

In the stupid play of the day department in the KC/Chargers game Mahomes overthrows Kelce leading to an INT about half way through the 1st quarter.  Rashee Rice chases the defender down and while he's punching the ball out Mahomes decides to play defense going for a low tackle leading with his shoulder.  He ends up hitting Rice his best receiver who most likely tore his ACL.  Don't get me wrong you don't want to see any player pull a Cam Newtom (see Super Bowl 50) but this was in week 4 when KC is 3-0 and it's early in the game.  Not the type of play you want to see your QB possibly get injured on or for that matter anyone.  KC might be 4-0 but their attempt at a 3 peat just got a lot harder.

Washington fans have to be stoked on their rookie QB Jayden Daniels as Washington blew out Arizona and is currently in 1st in the NFC East at 3-1.  Philly got manhandled by Tampa and Minnesota might be the only other 4-0 team after today unless Buffalo pulls off a comeback.  A lot of parity in the league to this point as every team looks beatable.
