How could he be that short on the landing? I wonder what went wrong.

 

They are saying the airports computers that help landing were down.  But then again, that computer has been down due to construction since June.

It was the middle of the afternoon on a clear day. Could he not see the runway? Maybe he was unfamiliar with the airport. Hast to be some explanation.

Man, just watched that video.  Their reactions remind me of what my family says their reaction of what the Cerritos air disaster was like.  I was only an infant at the time, but we were at a gas station about a half mile from the neighborhood that the wreckage landed in.  Thankfully, this one ended with much less loss of life.
