What does his contract look like?

$4.2 million for this season (may be too rich for us or any team) with one more year of arb before free agency

Is that the same hip that was bothering him before he left the Angels to deal with his kid's medical issues?  I'm assuming so.  Crazy that it's still an issue.

Yeah “left hip strain” was what he was originally put on the IL with as the team was setting last year’s opening day roster

Nice back to back games for Houston.

After the Angels stole the game in extra innings yesterday the Astros self destructed again in extra innings.

Astros took a two run lead in the top of the tenth only to give up three in the bottom of the tenth. Two infield errors and then they whacked Montero around. Again Hader was deprived of a win after he pitched a scoreless ninth.

Nice to see them cooling off and not gaining more ground.

By the way, Cabbage got a bunt hit and stole second before scoring in the top of the tenth. Kind of a useful player to have on a roster

How likely is it we see Abreu in a couple weeks with Schanuel getting a AAA reset?

it's not a crazy guess, imo.

i'm hopeful it's something as simple as the angels figure out that abreu hasn't changed his contact lenses in eight months, then send him to an eye doctor to work it out and then bam, he's back to being an mvp candidate.

Zero chance.

Remember this is the same team that signed two guys basically out of baseball (Sano, Dozier), one who was effectively retired (Strickland) and another with a coaching offer (Tucker).

Zero is a little bold.

For the love of god please take advantage of this Perry.

Are you saying we should try to get Bradish or take advantage of the situation because they might be extremely desperate for pitching soon?

It’s the second part.
