Great matchup. Sot of like Jerome Williams and Shelby Miller.

 

The Cardinals are a very good, balanced team with hitting, starting pitching and relief. I'm betting Albert is regretting his greed-based decision.

When I see the Cards pitching roster I am jealous.  Maybe the Cards acquired knowledge at one point that Pujols was 36-37 or 40, when he was really 30 but figured they wouldn't tell the league because of his great years of service and just let him go to to some foolish team knowing he'd break within a year or 3, not knowing said foolish team would give him something like a 10 year contract.

I agree.  The Cardinals are very good.  

 

How they develop all this talent, I don't know. Several of their players have matched or topped their minor league numbers.  Molina, Carpenter, Craig.  Matt Adams has matched it so far.  You can say the same about their pitchers. It is amazing.

 

Do they ever miss?
