John Savage spurns USC, sticks with UCLA

Word is UCLA rounded up donors and were able to offer 1 million+ per year.  Great stuff, he has been awesome.

SC blew it years ago with Savage. They had him and let him go to UCI and kept Gillespie who was bloody awful.

He won a title with a seriously light-hitting team; must be doing something right!  I'd heard from my buddy that UCLA would find a way to retain him...

I'm no USC fan, but I expect they will be able to turn their program around soon as well.

Happy to see that Savage is remaining a Bruin.  He really turned the program around and with him at the help the Bruins should be great for years to come!
