I myself am anti- label. Choosing to have an abortion based of the child's sex and simply because of that seems wrong to me. In the future when sexual preference can be determined in the womb, will we also have that as an option to abort? How about the race of a child if multiple partners are in the picture? With advancements everyday in DNA stories and genetic profiles are we headed to designer babies? We can abort because the eyes are wrong color of blue? If abortion is going to be legal ( and it is), the law should be fairly strict. The article seems to be talking about the funding of abortion and not the law. Myself, I would not want my tax dollars paying for an abortion simply because the baby wasn't going to have an athletes body and handsome features.
