Ward looking good, 3 -1 Angels.

Strange inning in the main game, with 2 hit batters and now 3 runs scored by the Angels without really hitting the ball all that hard.

In the B-game, Brett Phillips is 1 for 3, but with another K.  That's an Adell-esque 8 in 16 ABs.  Hopefully whatever he learned from his hitting coach over the winter kicks in soon.

I am kinda surprised Trout is still in the game in the 6th. This early in Spring training most the roster guys are gone long before this but I guess he wanted one more plate appearence.

I think it's also related to him leaving for the WBC soon and maybe just wanting to get one more AB with the Angels before he goes.

Blakely is fast. he just turned a single to right into a double by going hard from contact.

All of the unknowns are getting seeing eye hits. Velasquez scored on a doink to left field to make it 8-4 and the last two runs with 2 outs.
