That said, it looks like Quero outranked O’Hoppe due to his larger relative age gap, and a much better BABIP? (Not sure if all contributing stats are equally weighted.. if so seems strange to include BABIP). Also, neither is getting (extra) credit for their superb 2022 performances coming from the Catcher position. 
For Paris, he gets no knocks here for his defensive concerns. Also, seems to get more credit for a big age gap than he probably deserves, since he played majority of the year at A+.

Pina is another underrated arm, who I ultimately think ends in the BP with Closer upside depending the command/control.

O’hoppe’s year really took off after the trade. He wasn’t having that hot of a year, at least power wise.  Might have something to do with it.  I don’t know anything I’m just throwing stuff out there.

It’d be pretty insane if he was actually attempting a comeback for 5+ seasons and he just dealt with injury, after injury.

This is a good team, but some things are going to have to go right to make the playoffs.  Bachman being healthy would be a big help.  He could make the bullpen out of spring, or come up later in the year.  Or he could make it as a starter (what’s his third pitch?).

The nice thing about the current roster pitching wise.  For most of the last decade, the lack of depth meant that guys like Canning, Rodriguez, and Bachman being healthy was seen as necessary for the team to have a chance.  Now those guys would simply be gravy.

Canning has been posting golf stuff on his social media -- you have to figure if he's healthy enough for golf he should be able to take to the mound in ST. I just hope the decision not to do surgery works out better than it did in C-Rod's case.

I’d like to see Bachman in the bullpen if he shows he can get MLB hitters out in Spring Training, but it seems like the Angels want him to develop as a starter.

If Bachman and Canning are healthy and we get anything out of Mr. Rodriguez I like our chances.  The sixth starter position would be a great way for Canning to return.  I’d use the other two in the BP this year but leave open the possibility of starting in the future.

I would like to see him pitching at full strength somewhere in the org for an entire season.   I think we need to see him in a controlled environment for a bit.
