Eeesh.

TBH, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone like Suarez is being discussed in some trade scenarios for MIF/OF, with the Angels signing a righty to replace him.

Not super crazy about Anderson but the terms are not terrible. Unless he totally implodes - not impossible - that’s flexible enough to work around, to trade, to eventually jettison, or if he kicks ass, be great value.

Was just going to say this. Initial reaction is meh (especially with losing the draft pick) but 13 million a year for anyone coming off the type of season Anderson just had is pretty great.

Incoming 4.75 ERA now that he's no longer on the Dodgers and is with the Angels

The AAV isn't terrible though, and this probably means the Angels end up moving one of their LHP in a trade I'd imagine? That's a lot of LHP in the rotation right now

Which is sad because Suarez has better stuff and is just 25 next season.
