Should the Angels pursue Aaron Judge?

I've seen this idea mentioned several times.

Let's keep it a simple "yes" or "no." Obviously there are several factors. I say no because he's going to get a massive contract and the Angels signing him would probably mean no Ohtani extension.

That is more of a new ownership call. If they pick up Judge then it is a clear signal to Ohtani the Angels are serious about contending. But it would require a new owner for the commitment.

Angels do need a corner outfielder but I'll pass on Judge and the money he'll ask for.

If you're spending that money id rather have correa. Cant keep rolling out doodoo every game. In reality they cant afford correa or judge if they have to pay ohtani. 

Ohtani, Trout and Rendon will take up 110-120 m per season...Hard to fill out the rest of the squad with the remaining 70-80m.

Hell no!  No more long term 30+ million dollar deals for FA.  If we are spending that type of cash do so for a player that will return the value. Like Ohtani

The Angels need to boost their offense without hurting their defense (Nimmo, Judge, Myers, Turner, Correa, Bell, Swanson, Bogaerts, Drury)...  I'm down with them signing 1-2 studs on offense this offseason and making some trades to acquire some hard throwing bullpen pieces, sign an innings eater for the middle of the rotation like a Martin Perez, Tyler Anderson, Nathan Eovaldi, Michael Wacha, Ross Stripling, Mike Clevinger etc.

Maybe sign one or two of these bullpen pieces as well: Taylor Rogers, Andrew Chafin, Michael Fulmer, Chris Martin, Chad Green, Rafael Montero.

People used to use that phrase a lot here 10ish years ago. But once it became clear that albatross after albatross contracts actually hampered the team's ability to improve itself, that phrase began to dwindle as people realized that excessive spending did impact the performance of the team.
