Mariners' two best hitters, who are both right-handed, and he doesn't bring in Tepera or Herget. Instead, he leaves in Wantz and then brings in Quijada to face two switch-hitters who hit lefties better than righties.

The Angels need to sit Stassi for Thaiss at catcher. He has sucked defensively and offensively this season. I want to see what our former #1 pick in the draft can do behind the dish. 

I also want to see Stefanic playing in the infield over Duffy once Fletcher is healthy and able to play every day.

This is what is sorely lacking from this team. Simple line drives. Especially with runners on.

 

I made a comment a fee weeks back about Dodger highlights. They don't seem to dominate home runs (in highlightS). But they seem to have a knack for simple single line drives when guys are on.

We all love home runs... but run scoring singles are great.
