Isn't it stellar pitching that turned the Jays' season around?  

 

The Angels can't look at them as an example of how to turn it around.

 

The Angels, as much as Hamilpoo has sucked, are still in the top 10 in all of MLB in a boatload of offensive stats.  

 

They're in the bottom 5 in all of MLB for a bunch of pitching stats.  With their staff, can they really turn that around this season?

didn't the angels have great pitching during their 8-game winning streak? the jays' streak doesn't sum up their season. i still think their rotation is terrible.

Please, let's not make a big deal out of an 8 game streak achieved against only teams under .500.

This is a terrible team as currently constructed.

It's going to take a while to get the right pitching in place.

10-21, 17-15, and 11-0

 

This is their stretch of ball games.  And even though 11-0 is not sustainable, they are improving, and they are not terribly constructed.  Most of their core players were/are injured.  You don't outscore teams 57 - 22 by luck.  They are better than a .500 team.

They were an okay team last year too, they just lost three of their five starting pitchers in the same week.  They are an improved team from last year who suffered major injury bad luck.

I guess you already forgot about them sweeping the Rangers in Texas a week ago (out scoring them 21-3).

Good teams are able to overcome injuries because they have the depth to do so. I thought Texas had great depth?
