You are correct. There will be a fair amount of hometown fans at the stadium to see Cole especially from his OLu family.

Weaver hasn't looked that great recently, but the fact that he's touching 90 right now leads me to believe it's more rust rather than the start of a decline like some were implying early in the season.

Putting two guys back to back in the order who are hitting near .500 in the past week just isn't fair to the other team.  Scioscia is a true sportsman.

According to the new lineup management theory, the 2-hole is more important than the 3-hole. In this case it gives Trout more chances to bat with Aybar not on base in front of him and at least one out.
