The PAC would simply become the Mountain West when this happens, unfortunately.

I can’t wait to see these west coast boys playing in The Big House or the Horseshoe in November.  Should be a fucking hoot.

Saw this while having lunch.  WTF.  From the clip I saw, it looked like it was just football.  But I guess we'll get specifics after the dust settles.  Pac 10 just became the NW conference.  

In a way, it makes sense.  Who pulls more revenue, Oregon State, Arizona State or USC/UCLA.  Yet when it gets to who gets paid, I'm sure it's even or not enough to make the difference.

I made this exact same statement when I found out about this. Looks like they would also have invited Oregon and Washington.

According to ESPN, Big Ten presidents and chancellors are voting tonight on the proposal.

This rather blows out the idea of conferences being grouped geographically. Not sure I like this kind of change.
