Our Fielding Defense Alignment and Pitch Sequencing is TRASH as our Defense is out of position based on if the location is missed and the ball is put in play!

 

THIS WHOLE GROUP of Coaches ACT like they don't communicate within their area of expertise, to each other and/or as a Collective with the players! Good Players will still do well... But, you also will see frustration as the rest can't catch up or are floundering (and you're seeing that with Trout).

It's all relevant!

 

That’s why I don’t think major tweaking is needed, as their is talent there.

New manager and coaches, re-signing Ohtani and Syndergaard, and changng the bullpen (more emphasis on swing and miss)

See if next season the new manager and coaches can get the team focused on the present and not the past.

Damian Lillard's approach to free agency is encouraging.  I'm hoping Ohtani has similar feelings.  Maybe the two can have lunch and Lillard can give Ohtani some advice!

Normally, down and in is where lefties with some pop do a lot of damage.

Marsh is a big dude.  I just don’t understand how he seems to have such little leverage at contact.

Maybe it's something as simple as Marsh having his eyes examined.  I can see him going up to the plate with glasses like Red Foxx's character in Harlem Nights.

On May 15th Marsh was hitting .284 for the Angels. That’s a larger sample size than what’s happened in Philly so far.

You don't have to "win" every trade.....I'm more focused on O'Hoppe....if he develops in to a solid everyday catcher (something we haven't had since Benji), it's a good trade, regardless of what Marsh does....
