Same here. I don't think Affleck's ever going to top Gone Baby Gone. Argo was good, but I don't think it was the Best Picture. I thought Life of Pi, Django Unchained, Silver Linings Playbook, and Zero Dark Thirty were all better movies of the nominees for Best Picture. I also think Moonrise Kingdon and The Master were better movies than Argo, even though they weren't nominated.

The Town is actually my favorite flick, but it's hard to explain or others to grasp from my perspective. It just encompasses everything that my perfect movie would have and I can talk about it all day. Gone Baby, Gone was just a trip that is probably underrated. I remember watching it a few times on my own then on dates and needing to talk to people about it afterwards.

Django and Silver Linings are upcoming when they hit Red Box. Still waiting for Lincoln to not constantly be sold out. I kind of want to see The Master again. I didn't care for Moonrise Kingdom at all....I am probably one of the rare ones that don't like Wes Anderson movies outside of Royal Tenebaums.

The best selling point about Argo is that it revived a lot of emotions in me from the events it portrayed, emotions that were not very happy ones.

Zero Dark Thirty moved along too slowly for me. It was well done but nothing earth shaking for me.

I could see that with Argo. I really allowed myself to have that perspective when the ending was abound. It was a little touching for me, so I can see where some older folks it really hit home. I kind of thought the same thing with Munich.

Glad I'm not the only one with that thought process with Zero Dark Thirty.

Glengarry Glen Ross 7.5/10

Saw this oldie on Netflix and had time to kill. The movie is weird because it is totally boring to the common person with just 2-3 settings in the whole movie and no real substance or plot...just great dialogue and colorful characters. I'm sure everyone has seen it and has an opinion.

I'm the same way towards Wes.  Most of his movies scream "hipster porn" and I feel about hipsters the same way Cartman feels about hippies.

We should form a club.  His films give me a headache, the ones I've seen.  The characters are just that, characters.  Their quirks aren't quirks, they're defining characteristics.

I love Wes Anderson's films to be honest. I could easily see how people wouldn't like him though. My favorite of his is actually Life Aquatic which is probably the least favorite of most people who actually like his films.

I'd say his most accessible film for people who aren't a fan of his is Bottle Rocket. I'd probably recommend giving that a shot as far as his films go. It still has some of his quirks but it's easily the least 'Wes Anderson-esque' of his films

I love Bill Murray in his movies.

Just watched the season finale of Justified. I have a serious man crush on Raylan Givens. It may be crossing homo territory.

Me as well; one of my favorite characters ever.  The show keeps getting better.
