Movie:  Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn   It had it's faults.  But overall probably tied with Joker as my favorite DC movie.  Margot Robbie was really good in it.  And considering it was mainly her in it, that's a good thing.  Supporting cast, Black Canary was an alright character.  Ewen McGreggor played a weird bad guy.  Huntress was kind of that awkward character that was a bit too rough around the edges, but she was only in it in the end part.  Rosie Perez, man she has aged, and it was kind of distracting.  You can tell too much plastic surgery.  Fight scenes were many and solid throughout the movie.  And get this, no, and I mean no, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman or any other DC god.  They only alluded to Bruce Wayne.  That alone was a nice change.  This movie is one of those if you liked Harley in Suicide Squad, then this is a definite see.  If you like shoot em ups, then this is good.  If you like superhero movies, this is borderline since it really isn't a typical superhero movie.  All others should probably wait for cable.

I was watching pornhub then accidentally clicked the stream button so my dad got to see the midget porn I was watching. Still haven't spoken to each other about it yet.

First Febreze, and now we find out you have high speed internet? Me thinks you aren't being honest with us with all your being poor talk.

Yes, I binged the entire 2nd part of the season last weekend. Loved it. It’s cheesy as hell but still entertaining.

That's  how I feel about the last couple of seasons. The first few were much better.

Plus, the title song is pretty cool.

Look a bitch in the eye and tell her, "Baby, I love it."

Netflix:  I am a Killer  Documentary on people on death row.  Each episode focuses on one person.  And the people they have is really varying.  All of them admit to killing their victims.  But their reasons, and evidence against them varies.  Some seem to be telling the truth.  Some seem to be going against the evidence.  And some seem to be framed by the police.  It's pretty good for any crime and punishment fans.

Watching Gangs of New York right now. What a total crock of shit this movie is. Historically inaccurate setting with a god awful wandering unfinished plot. Was Scorsese coked up when he directed dumpster fire? The only sense of relief is Daniel Day Lewis’ acting’s skills. It’s a Miramax film so I take comfort knowing that every actress in this tragedy had to lick Weinstein’s taint.

Sunday Funday

I can screencast at a local bar and we did Kingpin, Step Brothers, and My Cousin Vinnie.

I forgot how great Kingpin is. I remember it being funny, but it is right up there.

Tied with Dumb and Dumber for the Farelly brothers’ best work IMO.

@AngelsLakersFan I had a couple drinks before I wrote that review. 😉

I like to have the drinks before / as I watch the movie. Last night was a nice stout with the movie Snowpiercer, an older film from the director of Parasite, staring Chris Evans, Tilda Swindon and Ed Harris. Not a good film but with a lot of interesting ideas and thematic comparisons with Parasite. Maybe it would’ve been better with another drink.
