For a Sunday day game, I'm pleasantly surprised that Maddon isn't also sitting one of Trout or Rendon too. I'll take it

They also have an off-day tomorrow, so that's probably why they're both in there.  I find it a little odd that they have an off-day three days after their last one, but whatever...Schedule is weird!

Yep.  Cole Irvin is starting for the A's.  They haven't released their lineup yet, so that's why nothing has been posted in this thread yet.

I'm surprised with off day Silseth was not sent down and an OF up. Maybe they have plans for Silseth getting another start this week. Walsh defense should be in lineup.

Just hoping Ward and Stassi are back Tuesday.

And also hoping the bullpen has the reverse domino effect soon.

At least Iglesias got a 1-2-3 save last night, baby steps towards righting the bullpen ship.

I did too. They are worried about the shift while teams can still shuttle pitchers on and off the DL for rest. And they wonder why there are so many strikeouts...
