True and maybe he would have been called up if healthy, I thought Thaiss was above Wallach on the depth chart.  But Wallach has played pretty well and I wonder if it might have impacted that.

I suspect the FO feels more comfortable with Wallach in terms of catching vs Thaiss.  Thaiss has more potential but I think Wallach is the more established catcher.
