That's why I don't sit up there.

That and the riff-raff.

That part of the park must have been cursed.  Three people died after falls, two if them were firefighters.   Which leads me to ask where was that guy that's always ranting about firemen at the time of these so-called "falls".

Doesn't it literally say on the ticket the exact opposite of this?

Should be thrown out quickly.

This is addressed in the article:

"Courts generally defer to the so-called “Baseball Rule,” under which fans assume the risk of injuries that result from attending a game. Scott said he did not believe the court should throw out this case because of that rule.

“This is not a foul ball,” he said. “It’s not a thrown bat. This is not a risk inherent to the sport of baseball. The game is not going on.”

(I'm not saying I agree or disagree with their stance--just pointing out that they're claiming that the rule shouldn't apply.)

Or her child has some sot of neurological damage and she can't afford the special services he requires. There is a real human behind this story, this isn't a property damage suit.

Maybe but I think the other is more likely. If I'm wrong then I apologize for being an insensitive asshat.
