Josh Hamilton dogged it on that last GIDP

He was just cruising into first base like he just hit one over the fence.

Hamilton should be benched for a few games. Call Calhoun up. Send a message Scioscia!

Some people just show how much they care differently, Josh's trot pretty much sums up his Angels career to date..   If Chili Davis was on this coaching staff he would have showed how much he cared by kicking Hamilton in the balls.

They need a Chili Davis type on this coaching staff for some of these guys.

Did he used to dive head first going into first base on a close play for the Rangers?

ARLINGTON, Texas -- A prime example of both Josh Hamilton's admirable competitiveness and reckless abandon came in the eighth inning of Texas' 10-3 victory against the Angels on Friday night.

Ground ball to third, Hamilton busting it down the line, the throw rocketing across the diamond ... and Hamilton dives head first into the first-base bag. Out.

It was breathtaking watching one of the game's elite players hustle in a way that evoked Pete Rose.

There is definitely a need on this team for some visible moments of passion. They continue to look so listless.
