LA Times: Angels' big rally comes up one run short against Yankees

<<<<""We were one hit away from winning it. Off the best closer in the game," said center fielder Peter Bourjos, who had two hits and drove in a run. "I don't think we feel good about it whenever you lose. But it's definitely a positive that we battled back like that.">>>>

LOL This is the story of the Angels' season. Only one hit away, but there is a moral victory in it somewhere. As if moral victories are counted up in the win column of the standings and gain you entrance into postseason. Where is Pujols in all this battling back? Standing up at the plate like a statue, and then waving at a ball thrown under his chin. Hey, at least we honored Mariano Rivera and had a high decibel cheering crowd in his honor in our backyard. Now, there is a damned moral victory for you!
