Meh. If they want a passage defensive catcher with some offensive pop as the backup to Stassi, they may as well promote Thaiss. 

If the Angels do secure a backup catcher, I'd like to see a veteran than knows how to handle the pitching staff and is actually a good defender.

Matthew Boyd was non tendered. I seem to recall people here wanting to trade Marsh for him. Maybe I'm wrong on the details, but people loved him for some reason.
