Seager in tears as he is removed from the game.

His time in Seattle is probably over.

Yeah he's done here. 20m option. They sold their house or at least put it on the market. His wife, Julie, has been posting about their new home in the Carolinas etc etc for a while now.

He has 3 young children, has made over 100 mil, wouldn't be surprised if he does retire.

And Id give 1K of weaver buys the house next to theirs, and is just a dickhead neighbor.

2K if we get a reality tv show out of it.

I'd sign him. Not for $20mil but for a reasonable amount.

Me, too.  He would have to agree to change his approach at the plate, though.  He has very little value as a .210 hitter.

Accurate. He ran a wRC+ of 99 this year. Just a smidge under league average. 101 RBI and 35 HR is neat, but he sold out for power this year. Still pretty damn good defender at 3B though.

Halos played them tough these past two weekends.

Ohtani puts the ! on an MVP season.

Walsh finishes a huge September/October.

Quijada wrapped up a dominant series, giving hope that with improved control could be a real asset in the pen.   Still only in his mid 20s.

First order of business, re-sign Iglesias and Cobb.

What should we take away from Detmers’ performance? In his sample size of 20 innings in 2021

Not much. He got to taste the majors, which is good, but that time on the IL really impacted a larger opportunity for him.

I'd anticipate he starts the season at AAA to try and polish his slider and command while being among the next 3 starters on the depth chart.
