In both of his previous managerial tenures, Joe has had the luxury of competent pitchers.

Does anyone here recall the refrain, "Spahn and Sain and pray for rain"? That  Braves manager had 2 HOF-quality starters and a bunch of the usual suspects.

This season, the Angels refrain has been "Ohtani, and pray for a week-long monsoon." Instead, the week in-between Ohtani starts featured the usual suspects. 

And of course, the Angels lost the benefit of probably 200-plus RBIs from their highest-paid offensive non-contributors.

Joe will be back. Mr. Moreno will still be in charge. Try not to overstress everyone.

Thats not true. I was in the thread last night when we were getting fucking smoked. 

I even said our season was done in it prior to this series .... this win doesn't matter.
