I think the US has a pretty strong team. Bryson will probably blow up but guys like Morikawa are going to be rock solid. Not superstar performance but no mistakes golf which this format rewards players.

bryson and koepka are gonna be a clown show. this is a terrible format for both of them. i would play them as little as possible.

I would definitely team them up. If you are going to lose one match make it as entertaining as possible.

this is a very reasonable idea. let them bomb away and whatever happens, happens. better to have them lose just the one match instead of two.

I hope not, I hope it's a really tight contest that goes down to the last hour of the singles. Whoever wins, those exciting last day Ryder Cups are brilliant fun to watch and can be quite a big thing over here. It takes golf into the broader sporting consciousness more than either The Open and The Masters do.

Morikawa has struggled the past couple of tournaments.  Hope it isn’t prolonged, although having time off may help him to regroup by a week from now.

saw parts of the ryder cup press conference with scotty scheffler this morning. first time to see him interviewed. he was great, and very personable, the kind of interview that makes you want to root for him and see him win.

whistling straits is going to be a bear. i saw that there are (at least) three par 4's over 500 yards, and one of the par 5's is over 600.

I love the Ryder Cup and The Presidents Cup.  It’s a chance to see individuals function in a team environment.  It’s a pressure cooker environment, with nothing but a Country’s pride and a Cup to play for.  It’s a great event.

The one thing I simply can’t wait for is Tyrell Hatton to have a massive F- Bomb laden meltdown caught on microphone, followed by him running into the crowd and punching a heckling American fan.  That may happen.

He’s been playing pretty well the last couple months, but he makes Bryson Dechambeau look like Patrick Cantlay.
