So the Adell thing which started as a day or two tops, is now out until next year.

It's like players here get a mild to moderate injury and then it gets worse as days and weeks go by. 

If I weren't at peace with this god-awful season...

I was just going to say. I haven't had a chance to watch the game today so far and missed his first start. 

What does he throw? FB velo?

Doesn't seem like he throws anything too fancy.  Fastball seems to sit at 92-93, throws a decent slider and a pretty good curve.

I ask again: why is Maddon taking out Junk?  He's thrown 61 pitches (40 for strikes) and has only given up 1 run to this point.  It's the 5th inning.  Let the kid pitch!

For me, by far the most annoying thing about watching the Angels is Maddon's handling of pitchers.

Couldn’t tune in tonight but how did Junk look? Looks like Maddon struck again with the early hook. This pitch is nasty though.
