Moreno is more in general with the franchise.

It makes sense, but after a while, shouldn’t Maddon ignore the MLB scouts, who obviously suck and need replacing.   Repeating failure time after time is insanity.

I leave for dinner and come back to find Maddon pulled Ohtani in the 4th after 70 pitches and 6 runs scored after he departed. 

So he pulled his best starter and #2 hitter all in the same move without even considering that Ohtani could just get through the inning without giving up the runners on base. 

Maddon can jamb his play like it's 1985 up his ass. In 1985 you leave the starter in to clean up his own mess and not fuck with his defense so a play can be made.

Minasian's first move in the off season to improve the defense is fire Maddon.

Maybe Maddon's comment was misunderstood and he meant, Play like it's 1995. The Angels historically bad collapse season.
